And yes- you can train cats!
The cat featured is my late cat Charm who taught me so much about living and loving a cat with complex behaviors and medical conditions. Fun Fact: I have two tattoos of him or inspired by him.
Fearful behaviors aren’t about defiance or stubbornness. They're how your cat copes with a world that often feels unpredictable or overwhelming.
Whether your cat hides every time someone comes over, growls when you try to pick them up, pees outside the litter box, or absolutely melts down at the vet — you're not imagining the struggle. And you’re not out of options. There are things we can do to help them feel safer, more confident, and more understood.
And honestly? I know how much it takes to care for an anxious cat, because I’ve lived it. I’m here to support you and your cat — without judgment, pressure, or a bunch of homework that doesn’t actually help.
They disappear the second someone walks through the door
They hiss, swat, or bite when approached or touched
They’re not using the litter box consistently
They seem jumpy, on edge, or overstimulated
You feel like you have to tiptoe around them — or like you’re constantly guessing what might set them off
They generally seem to be anxious or stressed and you don't know why
Your vet recommended working with a cat behavior consultant.
Cat behavior can be complex, but it's not mysterious and it's not unchangeable. I work with you to create a compassionate plan that fits both your life and your cat's needs by becoming a Wise Whiskers Member.
You don’t need another rigid training program that burns you out - life is already doing that. You need support that works and is flexible — especially when life gets chaotic, your brain feels foggy, or your pet throws you a curveball.
That’s where the Membership System comes in. It’s flexible, collaborative, and built to reduce your mental load — not add to it. You get consistent support, space to learn at your pace, and someone in your corner who really gets it.
I’ll also coordinate directly with your vet, behaviorist, or other care professionals so you’re not stuck playing translator or advocate alone. You don’t have to do this by yourself.
TLDR: Membership =
Flexible pacing for when you’re overwhelmed
More connection and communication without the burnout
Ongoing, nerdy, science-based feedback
Plans that adapt to how things are going for you and your cat.
During our discovery call and/or initial consultation, we will discuss which membership level is the best fit.
